South Warren Snowmobile Club News     SWSC News March 4, 2016 - SWSC Season that never was! closed for season. Well I was looking back in my records and 2012 was a bad season but we did have the gates open a short time that season. This 2015 - 2016 season I think all of us SWSC members as well as businesses in the area agree it was a horrible snowmobile season. We decided earlier in the week to make our March mtg the last of the season. Now we have also decided to close for the season and start taking down signs and all and starting to look forward to a early Spring since winter forgot us this year. we will have to pray for a good winter next year because this one is over... Well with No $ coming in for Grooming this year maybe we can grab some manpower hours from some of our club members. This is how we need to start taking down signs, we need to pull out the nails (don't toss the nails in the woods either please put them in a pail or in your pocket) then the signs will either go into...

March 4, 2016 - SWSC Season that never was! closed for season.

This is how we need to start taking down signs, we need to pull out the nails (don't toss the nails in the woods either please put them in a pail or in your pocket) then the signs will either go into the Lake George Groomer Barn or the Lake Luzerne Groomer Barn. Mark will then sort them all out for next year. What we our asking is to please call Mark Mclain - 696-3464 or email him at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call Hammer at 593-1105 or email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and let us know you have the signs and what building you will be dropping them off and we will make sure we get over to grab them or let you know were to place them. Also the most important part of  this is letting us know what part of the system you removed signs and how many of you were involved and Hours it took to do the task so we can put in for Aid.

Reminder we only remove the signs on road frontage, by businesses, Prospect Mnt, any that our seen from the road. We don't take any down in the wooded sections of the trails they stay for the year besides the 4th lake campground they get removed. Any questions you may have please give myself or Mark a call and we can answer.... Thanks everyone for all your help and support and unfortunately mother nature didn't help us to a great season this year.... God Bless and I will keep you all up to date on upcoming social events we will be included in.

See you next season have a safe and enjoyable off season.

Thank you
Bob "Hammer" Grant
SWSC President
